Founded in 1978 by Deborah and Harry North, Creative Environments has grown from a small, family-run operation into one of the North Bay’s most respected and enduring landscape contracting firms.

For more than four decades, we’ve brought beauty, function, and lasting value to residential landscapes across the region. Our longevity is rooted in a deep bench of skilled professionals—from designers and masons to carpenters, welders, and seasoned foremen—who treat each project as a unique collaboration.

In 2024, Creative Environments entered a new chapter as Lindsey North, daughter of the founders, assumed ownership. A licensed C-27 contractor and experienced landscape designer, Lindsey spent over a decade working in both design and field management before taking the helm. Her leadership continues the company’s legacy of excellence, supported by a dedicated team—many of whom have been with Creative Environments for more than 25 years.
